Company research your AI can cite.
The Matrix is Stoky's research graph of 2,600+ companies and the industries, themes and regions around them. Entries are updated as new SEC filings and financial news arrive, and every committed version is kept. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or your coding agent, then ask how two companies are linked, what changed on a name this week, or what the Matrix said on an earlier date. Entries carry filing and news citations where available.

The 15 tools
All 15 tools are read-only. Ask in plain language; your AI calls these tools for you.
Find
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
matrix_status | Reports how fresh the Matrix is, how many entries and links it holds, and whether semantic search is on. |
resolve_ticker | Matches a ticker or company name to its entry, and says how it matched and how sure it is. |
find_entities | Searches companies, industries, themes and regions by name, ticker or plain-language description. Up to 6 queries at once. |
Read
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_entity_tree | Lists the sections and topics in an entry, with sizes and last-updated dates, before anything is read. |
read_entity | Reads the full profile of an entry by default, or chosen sections and topics, with available citations. Up to 20 entries at once. |
get_citations | Pages through the citation records behind an entry, its links and retail discussion. Dated-fact citations cover the newest 200 facts in the window. |
get_facts | Returns dated facts for an entry, each with its source. |
Connections and sentiment
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_neighbors | Lists linked entries by strength and type. Typed links come with a stated reason; co-mention and similarity links are looser leads. Can go two steps out. |
find_path | Finds the strongest chain of links between two entries, up to 4 steps, with the reason at each step. |
get_sentiment | Returns retail discussion: stance, confidence, attention level, 7-day changes and the main threads. Says so when there is none. |
get_market_pulse | Lists entries updated in a recent window (1 hour to 30 days) and names with unusual retail attention. |
History
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_entity_changelog | Shows which sections of an entry changed, and when, over up to 90 days. |
get_matrix_snapshot | Reads entries exactly as the Matrix had them on an earlier date. |
diff_matrix | Lists what changed between two dates, or field-by-field changes for chosen entries, citing both versions. |
get_event_stream | Lists raw dated observations for entries in time order, before they are merged into the entry. |
What your AI app can and cannot see
It can
- Entries for 3,000+ companies, industries, themes and regions, with sections such as earnings, risk factors, capital allocation and competitive position
- Typed links between entries (supplier, competitor, partner, subsidiary, regulator and more), each with a one-line reason
- Retail discussion for 800+ names: overall stance, how confident that read is, how unusual the attention is, and the threads behind it
- Each entry's change history, and the Matrix as it stood on any date since May 21, 2026 (an entry appears from when it was added)
- Source records behind claims: filing type, article title, publisher, date and link
It cannot
- Your portfolio, watchlist, saved stories or listening history
- Your password or payment details. You sign in on Stoky's own page, never inside the AI app
- Live quotes or real-time market data. Entries only quote dated figures from filings and news
- Change anything. All 15 tools are read-only
To disconnect, remove Stoky Matrix in your AI app's connector or MCP settings. A sign-in that goes unused for 30 days expires on its own.
Included with Stoky Pro
No add-on and no separate API plan: your Stoky subscription covers the Matrix in the Stoky app and in your AI apps. On Stoky Basics, the sign-in page tells you so and nothing is connected. Some AI apps need their own paid plan before you can add a custom connector.
